Abstract:

This article presents the data from an analysis of the epidemiological situation on the incidence of syphilis in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) (RS(Y)) for the period between 1982 and 2017. The highest incidence of syphilis in RS(Y) was in 1997, 1998, 1999, which coincided with the socio-economic transformations in society. Currently, there is a decrease in syphilis morbidity. Nevertheless, the high rate of late latent forms requires epidemiological monitoring.
